Production area:
Altkirch in the municipality of Salorno - Calcareous soil and 50-year-old vines on double pergola.
Vinification:
90% of the grapes are destemmed and 10% are fermented together with stems for 3 months in amphora. Then follows a further aging for 16 months in barrique. The fermentation and the biological acid degradation are spontaneous. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

A very interesting food companion for all dishes.

In his younger years, Martin Schgraffer worked for 7 years in the former Erste + Neue winery co-operative to finance his subsequent studies in viticulture in Geisenheim. After his studies, he worked at Dönnhof on the Nahe. He gained further experience in Oregon, USA, among other places, before setting up his own business as a garage winegrower in his home town of Salurn.
