Aromi di scorza d'arancia, arance rosse e rosa canina. Tannini evidenti al palato, salato minerale e persistenti.

Vinificazione:
Il 90% delle uve viene diraspato e il 10% viene fatto fermentare insieme ai raspi per 3 mesi in anfore. Segue un ulteriore affinamento di 16 mesi in barrique. La fermentazione e la malolattica sono spontanee. Il vino viene imbottigliato senza filtrazione.

In gioventù, Martin Schgraffer ha lavorato per 7 anni nell'ex cooperativa vinicola Erste + Neue per finanziare i suoi successivi studi in viticoltura a Geisenheim. Dopo gli studi, ha lavorato al Dönnhof sulla Nahe. Ha fatto altre esperienze in Oregon, negli Stati Uniti, tra l'altro, prima di mettersi in proprio come viticoltore in garage nella sua città natale, Salurn.
