Description:
The Gewürztraminer is greenish-yellow with a slightly reddish shimmer. Its aroma is pronounced, spicy and clearly reminiscent of the scent of wild roses, dried fruit, nutmeg and other noble spices. The taste is full-bodied and spicy.

Gewürztraminer - South Tyrol DOC - autochthonous South Tyrolean grape variety.
Production area:
A single vineyard site in Felthurns at 600 m above sea level.
The light and permeable soil is composed of a mixture of sand, gravel, clausite and weathered slate.
Vinification:
Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel barrels followed by storage for 11 months on the fine lees.
Food pairing:
It successfully invites as an aperitif and remains an ideal companion to hearty hors d'oeuvres and dishes from fine European and oriental cuisine.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

The Zöhlhof is run according to organic guidelines and includes a selection of exquisite white wines. The farm is located on a steep slope on the west side of the Eisack Valley in the face of the morning sun, at an altitude of about 600m above sea level.
