Description: Initially, the wine appears somewhat reductive, followed by a touch of flint and a subtle minerality. With obtimal maturity, citrus and pear aromas follow. The acidity, tannin and well-integrated wood make the wine very easy to drink and delicate.

Production area: Altkirch in the municipality of Salorno - Calcareous soil and 50-year-old vines on double pergola.
Vinification: 85% of the grapes are gently pressed, while 15% macerate on the skins for 3 weeks. Fermentation and BSA take place spontaneously and the wines mature for 1 year on the full lees in tonneaux, barrique and cigarillos. From November to May, the wines are stirred by hand (battonage). The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Food pairing: Ideal with poultry.
Serving temperature: 10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential: more than 8 years.

After his studies, he worked at Dönnhof on the Nahe. He gained further experience in Oregon, USA, among other places, before setting up his own business as a garage winegrower in his home town of Salurn.
