Description:
In the bottle lies a splendid wine, which comes from an absolutely special area, the entrance to the Val Pusteria. The wine is very original and characterised by a freshness and fruitiness that has no similarity. The wine convinces through its accentuated fruitiness, which is reminiscent of ripe peaches and exotic fruits. An appropriate acidity gives the wine good longevity. The taste is elegant and clean, the structure balanced with a harmonious finish. Solaris is an innovative and ecological product, and its consumption is a rare enjoyment.

Production area:
Sunny slopes above the village Rio di Pusteria, located at the entrance to the Pustertal valley, extending to the south and east.

Wilhelm Gasser Santerhof is situated at the entrance to Pustertal/Val Pusteria near the historic Mülbacher Klause. There, where no vineyards are expected, we have been producing our own wine since 2008 - the northernmost winery of Italy. Our farm’s biodiversity is our number one priority; therefore we produce a great variety of apples, stone fruits and table grapes. On an area of 0.85 hectares, the grape vine varieties Bronner and Regent thrive; from these we press wines of an excellent quality. The grapes are exclusively vinified in our own cellar. Since 1991 we have been working using solely organic biological methods. We belong to the Bioland association and are controlled by ABCERT. As free winegrowers we sell our wines almost exclusively at our farm.
