Description: Ruby red with violet hues. Fruity nose with intense forest fruit, eucalyptus, violet, spice and vanilla notes. Balanced acidity accompanied by soft tannins.

Production area: St. Justina Schwarhof "Pitsch" (2001), St. Justina Kohlerhof "Braun" (2000), St. Justina Kohlerhof (1965), Gries Gyulaihof (2011/1980), Bolzano village "Oberpayersberg" (1987) on sandy loam and moraine soils.
Vinification: Matured for 18 months in wooden barrels - 40% in used barriques, the rest in large wooden barrels.
Food pairing: Best enjoyed with game, roasts, dark meats and hard cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential: more than 5 years.
