Description:
Grapevines and pomegranates share common origins and often accompany each other in the Mediterranean basin. The fruit of the pomegranate also possesses the charm, beauty and intensity of the fruit of the vine. It is this ideal combination that inspired the name 'Granato', the name of a Teroldego of particular concentration and density that has its roots in the stones of three vineyards in the Campo Rotaliano. Teroldego Granato has a brilliant ruby red colour, a fruity aroma with hints of cherry, currant and blackberry, liquorice and spices. On the palate it is soft, elegant, fresh, mineral and with well-incorporated tannin.

Production area:
Old pergolas owned by the Foradori Winery located in Mezzolombardo, in the heart of Campo Rotaliano. Soil: alluvial, gravelly-clayey soil.

Fermentation in large open vats. Maturation for 15 months in casks.

Foradori has the great merit of having contributed to the revaluation of the Teroldego vine, which in recent years has established itself in the Italian wine scene with great authority. The protagonist of this revival is undoubtedly Elisabetta Foradori, not surprisingly called the Teroldego lady, a woman who has been able to bring to the highest level the combination of passion and expertise. The Trentino region is absolutely suited for the production of quality red wines. The potential of the area are fully exploited by the Foradori winery, so as to give us bottles that reflect the quality and vision of labor in the vineyard.
