Description:
Ruby red colour. The bouquet is reminiscent of violets, with hints of cherry, ripe red fruits and a spicy finish. Soft taste, with a pleasant freshness and flavour and good balance.
Grape variety:
Cabernet Franc 25%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Corvina 25%, Corvinone 25% - Veneto IGT.
Production area:
Vallata di Negrar, in the Veneto region, in the province of Verona, with a total of twelve hectares of vines planted with the main autochthonous grape varieties of the area, such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara.
Vinification:
After harvesting, the grapes are left to dry for about a month before fermentation. Before bottling, the wine is aged for one year in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Food pairing:
Pairs well with risotto and pasta dishes, aged cheeses, braised red meats, mushrooms, roasted and grilled meats.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 10 years.

For years, the name of Giuseppe Quintarelli has been an undisputed guiding light on the Valpolicella stage, representing as only he is capable of the deepest and most true quintessence of a territory that is now rightly recognized as one of the most prestigious of Italian viticulture, able to offer simply extraordinary wines, as others do not meet. In the Negrar valley, in Veneto, in the province of Verona, there are twelve hectares of vines in total, where the most important indigenous varieties of the place meet, such as corvina, corvinone, rondinella and molinara, which each season give rise to an average of about 50 thousand bottles a year.
