Description:
Intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The olfactory notes range from balsamic sensations of small berries, chocolate, tobacco and pepper to elegant nuances of pepper. The taste is full, warm, with great roundness and an extremely long intense aromatic persistence. The iconic wine of the estate, with its roots deep in its centuries-old history. A classic Bordeaux blend of breed, aristocratic elegance and extraordinary longevity.

Vinification:
Spontaneous 15/18 day fermentation in small concrete vats with periodic pumpovers an d délestage.
Maturation: 24 months in new once-, twice- and third-used French oak barrels.

Game, roast duck, mature cow's milk cheese, lamb, snails, vanilla or cheese soufflés, truffles, dark chocolate.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
