Description: Pale straw yellow with green highlights. Fresh, lively and overflowing aromas with tropical notes such as pineapple, passion fruit and mango. The fresh, mouth filling flavours are backed by a fine acidity giving it length and perfect balance.

Production area: Selected vineyards in Pinzon (350m - Montagna) on the east side and the slopes of Penon (Cortaccia) on the west side of the valley. Deep clay soils with different sand contents and moraine sedimentary soils.
Vinification: After a short maceration (48 hours) the grapes were softly pressed, clarified through natural gravity settling of the sediments and finally fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures (18 - 21°C) to retain the classic aromatic qualities. Prior to bottling the wine is aged for a minimum of 4 months on the fine lees in the tank.
Matching: This wine is an excellent accompaniment to asparagus, seafood and warm starters.
Serving temperature: 10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential: more than 5 years.

Producer: Castelfeder Winery The Castelfeder Estate Winery was founded in Egna more than 50 years ago by Alfons Giovanett, but since that time, hardly anything has remained the same. “The product line has been expanded, production has increased, the processes in the winery have been modernized, and the market has become more international,” says Günther Giovanett, who took over the estate from his father Alfons and runs it with his children Ivan and Ines. Today, the Castelfeder Estate Winery encompasses 65 hectares, on which 70 percent is planted with white wine varieties.“The focus is on Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon Blanc,” Giovanett explains.
