Description:
Sepp's old vine named after grandpa ,who already in 1980 chose the best sites for his vines. The result is pleasantly fruity, ripe apple and white peach.

The winery is situated at 525m above sea level above the medieval town of Klausen in the middle of the Eisack Valley. The sunny south-facing slopes and the special composition of the soils of slate and diorite give the wines their character.
Vinification:
Matured in steel tanks and 20% in barrique barrels.
Food pairing:
With its long-lasting flavour and creamy acidity on the finish, it goes very well with aperitifs and hors d'oeuvres.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.

more than 5 years.

We, the Family Oberpertinger, have been managing the vineyards for three generations. The passion for cultivating the vines and pressing the wines has grown steadily. Thanks to regular vinification, we now have an impressive vineyard that requires the help of all the members of our family. Our winery lies at 525m above sea level above the medieval town of Chiusa in the middle of the Eisack Valley. The sunny southern slopes and the special composition of the soils of slate and diorite lend our wines their character. Each bottle is the result of a year of hard work: the manual harvest and the careful processing in the cellar give personality and uniqueness.
