Description: 
The color, light yellow with green reflection. On the nose offers a rich and colorful bouquet of tropical fruits, flint and elderflower. Pleasantly fresh and lively notes of citrus and lemon balm. This Sauvignon seduces and convinces with its mineral character that characterizes it. The fruity and at the same time velvety aromas make it refined and elegant. Pleasant mineral reverberation. 

Grape variety: 
Sauvignon blanc - South Tyrol DOC Alto Adige. 

Production area: 
Völs am Schlern, South Tyrol, Dolomites - Unteraicha village at 550 - 650m above sea level. The wineyards Leita and Rachtl extend on the south-west exposed steep slopes, which enjoy the influence of the warm winds from the Bolzano valley basin. The morainic soil is particularly deep and rich in minerals and gray porphyry, whose notes characterize the taste of Sauvignon Prackfol. The magnesium content in the soil, which promotes the development of the aromas, is above average. 

Vinification: 
Manual harvest and grape selection. After a short maceration, slow fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature. Maturation for 5 months on the fine yeasts in stainless steel barrels. The gray porphyry gives the Sauvignon a subtle smoky note. 

Food recommendations: 
Fresh and versatile wine, ideal accompaniment to starters and fish specialties. Particularly recommended with asparagus dishes and risotti. 

Serving temperature: 
10 - 12°C.

5 - 7 years.
