Description:
The Linticlarus Cuvée Riserva has a beautiful dark-red color and an intensive scent of flowers, blackberries and blackcurrants. The powerfully structured body and fine tannins give lasting support to the bouquet on the palate and ensure a long, juicy finish.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot - South Tyrol DOC
Production area:
Cabernet from south-facing hillside vineyards and Merlot from southeast-facing sites in Entiklar (260 – 300 m a.s.l. / 853 – 984 feet).
Vinification:
Fermentation on the skins in concrete vats followed by malolactic fermentation and a 12-month aging period in small oaken barrels. After a further six months in large wooden casks, the wine ages for another year in the bottle.
Food pairing:
Braised or grilled red meat, lamb or game, aged cheeses.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 8 years.

The Tiefenbrunner family is fully committed to the wine-growing tradition since 1848. Today Christof and his wife Sabine stand behind the name Castel Turmhof winery. Their aim is to blend the traditions of many years with new and innovative developments. Thus, the preservation of the character of the grape varieties, and of the high quality of the grapes themselves, remain the basic principle of the work in the vineyards and the cellars. Altogether 25 hectares of vines are owned and cultivated by the Tiefenbrunner family. They also purchase grapes from surrounding vineyards with a total cultivated area of 40 hectares. The average annual production is 750,000 bottles, of which 70% are white wines and the remainder red.
