Description:
The  Bronner  wine has  a bright colour and  a gentle fruity aroma. The elegant flavour of this fresh white wine surprises the palate with spicy notes, tasting of sage and ripe drupe fruits. 

Grape variety:
Bronner. Bronner is a fungus-resistant grape variety (PIWI) and most of the vineyard was planted in 2004. It is ideal for organic wine production; indeed it is regarded as one of the most important white varieties in our neutral wine segment. 

Production area:
The grapes thrive at 'Hof Gandberg', which is located in Eppan Berg at 520 metres above sea level at the eastern foot of the Gandberg mountain. The loamy, calcareous and deep soil has a high white Dolomite rock content.

Vinification:
The grapes were picked by hand on Begin October when they were fully ripe. Their skins were already very thin and had a light, brownish hue, which showed their wonderful ripeness. These grapes were pleasantly mild in taste, with a great fruit accent and fresh acidity. The grapes were pressed gently, with  the must then left to ferment spontaneously, naturally, in stainless steel vats without controlled temperature. The aging process of this Bronner on dregs continued until June. At the end of August it was bottled; now you can enjoy its taste in perfect harmony. 

Matching:
Thanks to its full body with a slightly austere touch, this PIWI white wine is ideal in combination with a light meal.

12 - 14°C.

more than 10 years.

Every plant here is literally crying out biodiversity! And you can feel it, too. he vineyards located around the farm at 500 to 530 metres above sea level are influenced by the specific climate of the 'Ice Holes' and by 'Gandberg', which stands out as an impressive rock formation in the background. This means that the wines growing here are distinct thanks to their striking freshness and vivacity. PIWI varieties mean that chemicals and artificial substances can be dispensed with. And experience, empathy and passion mean that nature is allowed free range.
