Description:
Light cherry notes emphasise its elegant nose. The Rosso di Montalcino presents itself proudly in the glass with a full body and beautifully integrated acidity.

Pian Ginestra, Macchiese, Fior Meliloto, Campo Levante at an altitude of 450 - 500 metres
Vinification:
Spontaneous fermentation with Pied de Cuve. 70% of the wine is matured in used wooden barrels of 3200 litres for 18 months. 30% is matured in 500 litre used tonneau for 18 months. Then 100% of the wine is left in steel tanks for a further month.
Food Pairing:
Traditionally in combination with meat dishes, but also with sheep's cheese and dishes dressed with ‘new’ olive oil, i.e. fresh from the oil mill.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.

over 10 years.
