Description: 
Fascinating red wine with delicate fruit, fine aromas of spicy wild berries and a hint of roasted aromas. Convincing unforgettable drinking experience accompanied by velvety fullness and finesse. 

Grape variety: 
Pinot Noir - South Tyrol DOC 

Production area: 
Marling, on a slope (30-40% inclination); against morning sun. Soils: granite, slate and gneiss, interspersed with sandy loam. Management: close to nature, without artificial fertilisers or herbicides. 

Vinification: 
Matured in small and large oak barrels. 

Food pairing: 
Ideal as an accompaniment to the festive menu, game, steak and bread plates. 

Serving temperature: 
16 - 18°C. 

Ageing potential: 
more than 8 years. 

Bottle size: 
1500 ml - 150 cl - 1,5 lt. magnum bottle

A family business, a single vineyard area, three vines, but countless genotypes: the Plonerhof estate in Marlengo aims for a very particular variability to occupy an extremely interesting niche. Also because the winemaker Erhart Tutzer wants to be "quality" in everything - from the vine to the bottle. The vineyards of the Plonerhof estate cover 5 hectares, partly with a slope of up to 40%, where working is difficult and tiring. It is evident that in these conditions nothing is received as a gift.
