Description:
Explosive olfactory impact. The broad aromatic bouquet ranges from cherry jam to mulberry, with hints of wisteria flowers and notes of black tea and liquorice. The entry is dark with a dense texture that envelops the palate with depth and warmth. The palate is juicy, in perfect harmony with the olfactory sensations, and is enriched with spicy notes in the aftertaste.

Production area:
The vineyards are located in Cortona on soils with river sediments and clay, and in Montepulciano on moderately deep, clayey and muddy soils.
Vinification:
Fermentation in concrete tanks for approximately 21 days. Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks. Followed by 24 months of ageing in Slavonian oak barrels and 3 months of ageing in the bottle.

Tasty dishes based on meat, cured meats and mature cheeses
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
