Description:
Explosive olfactory impact. The broad aromatic bouquet ranges from cherry jam to mulberry, with hints of wisteria flowers and notes of black tea and liquorice. The entry is dark with a dense texture that envelops the palate with depth and warmth. Production area:
The vineyards are located in Cortona on soils with river sediments and clay, and in Montepulciano on moderately deep, clayey and muddy soils.
Vinification:
Fermentation in concrete tanks for approximately 21 days. Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks. Followed by 24 months of ageing in Slavonian oak barrels and 3 months of ageing in the bottle.

Tasty dishes based on meat, cured meats and mature cheeses

16 - 18°C.
