Description:
Intense straw yellow. Peppery nose with exotic hints, aromas of apple and melon. Powerful and melting in the mouth, ripe fruit, crisp acidity, combined with an elegant, long finish.

90% Chardonnay and 10% Kerner - South Tyrol IGT Vineyard Dolomites white.
Production area:
St. Justina Schwarhof "Lack" (1981-1995-2003), St. Justina Schwarhof "Mandelbaum" (2003), St. Justina Schwarhof "Kirschbaum" (2003). Sandy loam soils with porphyry and moraine deposits.
Vinification:
Spontaneous fermentation in large oak barrels and barriques at a controlled temperature of 17 - 19°C. Maceration on the skins for 1 - 2 months. Ageing 100% in wood, partly in large wood partly in barriques (1/3 new barriques) with weekly battonage. Partly biological acid reduction.
Food pairing:
Ideal with more opulent starters, white meat, fish, also grilled! Sophisticated risottos are also perfect accompaniments.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.

more than 5 years.

The Loacker family has been a pioneer of organic-biodynamic viticulture in Italy and Europe since 1979. Pure wine enjoyment with creations from South Tyrol and Tuscany, which skillfully steps out of line, impresses every passionate wine expert. Vernatsch and Lagrein are typical South Tyrolean grape varieties and are cultivated on 7 hectares of vineyard. International varieties, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon also grow well on the steep slopes above Bolzano. Take a break from the heat and crowds of Bolzano and drive to Sanct Justina along the Rittnerstrasse. The historic winery Loacker, with its modern SKYWINE PAVILLON, gives you a great view of the Rosengarten while looking down on Bolzano.
