Descrizione:
Rovere speziato perfettamente integrato, sapori di amarena, crosta di torta e buccia d'arancia. Corposo con tannini finissimi e polverosi. Al palato è fruttato e sapido, vivace e continuo. Bocca leggera e animata.
Uvaggio:
100% Sangiovese - DOCG Brunello di Montalcino
Zona:
Ramerino, Aromatica, Levante, Rosa dei Venti, Anemone e Macchiese a 450-500 metri. I terreni sono costituiti da galestro, calcare e ardesia.
Vinificazione:
Dopo la fermentazione, il vino viene affinato per 36 mesi in botti grandi. Successivamente, il 50% del vino matura per 12 mesi in botti di legno usate da 1500 litri e il 50% in vasche d'acciaio da 1500 litri. Infine, il 100% del vino viene affinato per 2 mesi in vasche d'acciaio.
Abbinamento:
Ideale per accompagnare piatti di selvaggina, la classica “Bistecca alla Fiorentina” e carni scure; ottimo anche con formaggi stagionati e prosciutto crudo.
Temperatura di servizio:
16 - 18°C.
Invecchiamento possibile:
oltre 15 anni.
