Vino bianco elegante, con sfumature olfattive di sambuco e uva spina; in bocca colpisce per il suo finale fresco e minerale e per il suo equilibrio.

Sauvignon - Alto Adige DOC
Zona:
Puiten a Caldaro a 500 m sul livello del mare.
Vinificazione:
Macerazione per 24 ore, fermentazione piccole botti di legno (225 - 300 lt.) ; affinato 9 mesi a contatto dei lieviti fini.
Abbinamento:
In cucina si abbina a piatti a base di asparagi, risotti, pesce o carni bianche.
Temperatura di Servizio:
10 - 12°C.
Invecchiamento possibile:
oltre 5 anni.

Thomas Pichler conosce il vino in tutte le sue sfaccettature e certo più approfonditamente di tanti altri. E questo non solo perché è nato in una famiglia di viticoltori di Caldaro e quindi è cresciuto a contatto diretto con il mondo viticolo, ma anche perchè lavora da quasi 30 anni presso diversi laboratori enologici. Dato che però ovviamente non gli è stato sufficiente conoscere il vino in condizioni di laboratorio, lo produce anche in proprio - alla tenuta Thomas Pichler di Caldaro. Oltre la metà della produzione è costituita da Kalterersee e da Lagrein, ai quali si aggiungono anche Chardonnay e Sauvignon.
