Description: 
The color, light yellow with green hues. The aroma offers a rich and colorful bouquet of exotic fruits. Very linear transition from nose to mouth. Full-bodied, elegant and long lasting on the palate. 


Grape variety: 
Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder) - South Tyrol DOC Alto Adige. 

Production area: 
Völs am Schlern, South Tyrol, Dolomites - Unteraicha at 550 - 650m asl. The acreage extends to the south-west exposed steep slopes, which enjoy the influence of the warm winds from the Bolzano valley basin. The morainic soil is particularly deep and rich in minerals and gray porphyry. The magnesium content in the soil, which promotes the development of the aromas, is above average. 

Vinification: 
Manual harvest and grape selection. After a cold maceration for about 2-3 hours the grapes and their stems are pressed. 70% are fermented in steel barrels and 30% in tonneaux. The wine matures on the fine yeasts for about 5 months. The two separately aged wines are then reunited and bottled. 

Food recommendations: 
This complex Pinot Blanc is a very versatile companion. This excellent white wine can be served from an aperitif to tasty starters and subtle main courses. 

Serving temperature: 
10 - 12°C. 

Ageing potential: 
5 - 7 years.
