Description: 
G. is an extraordinary mass-fermented Gewürztraminer that impresses with its intense flavour and fascinating character. On the nose, it unfolds an opulent bouquet of ripe peaches, exotic fruits and rose petals, accompanied by a hint of spices and honey. The mass fermentation gives the wine depth and structure, giving it a creamy texture and further intensifying its flavours. On the palate, the G. is full-bodied and complex. Its long, elegant finish leaves a lasting impression.

Grape varierty: 
Gewürztraminer - South Tyrol DOC - autochthonous South Tyrolean grape variety. 

Production area: 
A single vineyard site in Felthurns at 600 m above sea level. 
The light and permeable soil is composed of a mixture of sand, gravel, clausite and weathered slate. 

Vinification: 
Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel barrels followed by storage for 11 months on the fine lees. 

Food pairing: 
It goes particularly well with savoury dishes, strong cheeses or as an exquisite aperitif. The G. embodies the winemaker's skill and passion and is a truly unique wine experience.

Serving temperature: 
10 - 12°C. 

Ageing potential: 
more than 5 years.

Around us stretch the picturesque slopes of the Valle Isarco with its traditional wine cultures. It is our concern to revive and enrich our traditional family farm with our own visions for the future. Care and love in dealing with nature are our priority. 
The Zöhlhof is run according to organic guidelines and includes a selection of exquisite white wines. The farm is located on a steep slope on the west side of the Eisack Valley in the face of the morning sun, at an altitude of about 600m above sea level.
