Grappagnac 40% vol. Walcher Distillery
Bottle to: 0,5 lt.
Description:
At first, the grappa appears clear in a shimmering violet-pink colour. With time, the colour changes to a rich reddish-brown, becoming more and more like the sunburnt wood of the tree.
A typical and unique smell, it is reminiscent of the comforting scent of Christmas decorations.
Equally unmistakable is the typical full-bodied taste of pine resin, with a very long-lasting finish.
The resin, which is actually bitter, is turned into an excellent treat by the sugar, and a moderate alcohol content ensures enjoyment without remorse.
Zirmblut contains no known allergens.
A symbol of the beauty and strength of the Alpine forests, the stone pine has long since won the hearts of all. The spicy, resinous taste evokes immediate memories of carefree moments on Tyrolean alpine pastures. A flaming pleasure from the mountains of South Tyrol.
The still unripe, pink, soft pine cones of the Swiss stone pine are harvested in adventurous climbing tasks. This tree, also known as the stone pine, grows in high-altitude Alpine regions, directly on the edge of the forest. The soft, fragrant wood is used as a material by the world-famous Val Gardena carvers, and the pine's spicy honey is known and loved everywhere as a cough remedy.
The pine cones are cleaned and cut, and a little caster sugar is added, which after a while turns into invert sugar due to the natural acids present.
The decisive factor is the exact combination of the right amount of cones and sugar, as well as the percentage strength of the alcohol. Only the exact coordination of all these factors ensures a harmonious coexistence of the intense resinous aromas. This drink is a digestible stimulant with a pleasant refreshing effect. The essential oils in 'Zirmila' simultaneously clear and disinfect the respiratory tract and are therefore an excellent remedy for colds and coughs.

Alpen High Seppila
A small local company whose purpose is to produce high quality spirits and liqueurs using absolutely natural raw materials. All the aromas for grappas and liqueurs are extracted from different types of aromatic herbs, roots of precious plants or berries and fruits. After a cold maceration, digestion or evaporation, an aroma distillation often follows. They also use different hydrolates. The usual distillation after the alcoholic fermentation of the basic products is specifically renounced, as with this method most of the aromas and above all all the precious substances and active principles are eliminated. The alcohol used for grappa and liqueurs is an alcohol made from organic soft wheat, of the best quality, of Italian production, without the aftertaste of the raw material of origin, neutral par excellence. The peculiarity of the Alpen High® - Seppila process is to use the aforementioned alcohol as an organic solvent and with the help of various natural products to create a surprising and tasty fantasy of flavors.
