Description: Intense straw yellow, with a beautiful depth of colour. In the Nose notes of grass clippings and citrus, lemon peel, aromatic herbs. Crisp in the mouth, taut, saline with a persistent finish.

Production area: Exposed to the east/south-east, these vines can be found in Nalles at between 330 and 400 metres above sea level. The soil is a 150-metre deep alluvial fan, carved out by the Sirmian and Nalles stream, consisting of 70% limestone gravel and 30% porphyry rubble.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand. After a brief period of pre-fermentation maceration, the clarified must is fermented for around three weeks in 12 and 30 hl wooden barrels, after which the new wine is aged on the lees for a further eight months.
Food pairing: It is appealing as an aperitif and pairs nicely with first courses, vegetable dishes, and when well ripe with asparagus dishes.
Serving temperature: 10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential: more than 8 years.

The winegrowers’ vineyards of the Winery Nals Margreid extend from Nals, a little town between Bozen and Meran (Merano), all the way to Margreid in the sunny, southern reaches of the region, allowing to exploit a remarkable variety of terroirs and locations. Like the excellent wines produced by it, the winery, modernized in 2011, is an expression of the terroir. Thanks to the joining of historical structures and the high standards of modern wine production, a complex of buildings evolved, that perfectly expresses the qualities.
