Description:
The colour is lively stramineous with a greenish shimmer. The bouquet reminds of a floral aroma, roses, mint and citrus melissa. In the mouth its a harmonic, fresh, soft, spicy, balanced and long lasting.

Gewuerztraminer - South Tyrol DOC
Production area:
Lagundo, Tyrol, Labers, Lana 450 - 500 m. Soil: Light, permeable soils of moraine origin, derived porous soils, sandy soils, high proportion of gravel in the hills.
Vinification:
Cold maceration for 12 hours. Alcoholic fermentation in controlled temperature in small stainless steel tanks. The later storage on yeast in small steel tanks of 30 hl. No biological acid degradation.
Food pairing:
Ideal with aperitifs, Asian recipes, shellfish.
Serving temperature:
10 - 14°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

The Winery Merano Burggräfler arose from the merger of two traditional wineries: the Winery Merano and the Winery Burggräfler. A total of 370 members, small and micro producers, cultivate about 250 hectares of the best vineyards in Merano and the surrounding areas Lagundo, Tirolo, Caines, Rifiano, Scena, Marlengo, Cermes, Lana and the Val Venosta Valley. Thanks to their combined strenght the winegrowing in the western part of South Tyrol obtains a new and interesting profile.
