Description:
Aromas of plums and black currant with a touch of liquorice and light spices. Round tannins and the elegant acid-structure support a fruity and long finish.

Production area:
Warm and deep loamy soils with high parts of clay located between Riva di Sotto e San Paolo (250 m.a.s.l.).
Vinification:
Slow fermentation in wood barrels, maturation on fine yeast in Tonneaux's for 5 - 6 months.
Food pairing:
With light meat dishes, wild fowl and aged cheese.
Serving temperature:
14 - 16°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.
