Description:
The very warm location and the alluvial soil, together with the small-berried grapes, give the wine its powerful, robust body with a dark red colour. Aromas of wild berries, plums, earth and spices as well as coffee roast in the nose and a juicy velvety taste with well-integrated tannins characterise this archaic drop.

Lagrein - South Tyrol Alto Adige DOC Riserva.
Production area:
Parcel 478 Vigna Grafenleiten on the small hill in St. Magdalena. 100% owned and worked by the farm itself.
Terroir: Alluvial soil
Orientation: south-western slope
Altitude: 310-350 m a.s.l.
Vinification:
Fermentation on the skins for 8-10 days. Malolactic fermentation and ageing in oak barrels and barriques for 1½ years.
Food pairing:
This wine is recommended with dark meat, game and hard cheese.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential:
Min. 15 years.
