Description

Description: 
Very fruity on the nose with red berry fruit aromas, dry on the palate with excellent length. Very harmonious and balanced on the finish. 

Grape variety: 
60% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc - Vallagarina IGT. 

Production area: 
The vineyards are mainly located in the municipality of Isera composed of vines that are between 15 and 35 years old. With south, south-east exposure, they are located on clayey and sandy soils, rich in skeleton at an altitude of 200-250 metres above sea level. 

Vinification: 
A small part of the grapes (5%) is dried and after fermentation in steel vats, it spends around 18 - 24 months in 7.5 hectolitre barrels made of predominantly American oak. It is bottled after a mild filtration (degreasing). 

Food pairing: 
goes very well with meat dishes, game and grilled meats. 

Serving temperature: 
16 - 18°C. 

Ageing potential: 
more than 10 years. 

Bottle size: 
750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt. 

Allergens: 
wine can contain sulphites.

La Vigne was born in the early 1990s out of one man's desire to create a different wine. I began a journey, a difficult and very tortuous path, like Ulysses in search of Ithaca. Digging, we fell many times and got up again. Running where our dreams took us in search of something unique and inimitable. 

What we are left with, after thirty years of sweat and morsels of toil, are two wines. 
It is not easy for me, honestly, to find words to describe my idea of wine.
