Description

Description: 
Deep purple, with garnet-red highlights. In the aroma, hints of blackcurrant and melissa are complemented by subtle oak. Grand in structure. Rich in tannins, with a long finish; dry. 

Grape variety: 
Cabernet Sauvignon - South Tyrol DOC 

Production area: 
Ölleiten at Caldaro, southeast exposure at 300m a.s.l. Moraine and sandy clay. 

Vinification: 
aged for 20 months in barrique casks. 

Food pairing: 
It goes excellently with roast and grilled beef, game and spicy cheeses. 

Serving temperature: 
15 - 17°C. 

Ageing potential: 
more than 10 years.
