Description:
Deep garnet red, symbolically recalling the nature of the grapes. Almost inexhaustible aromatic complexity, recalling on the nose intense notes of blackcurrant, cherry, blackberry, clove and spicy aromas; full attack with balanced and harmonious structure further confirmed by long persistence and accentuated pleasantness; great finesse.

LAGREIN: St. Justina Kohlerhof "Pitsch" (2001), St. Justina Kohlerhof "Braun" (2000) on clay and sandy soils with moraine deposits.
Vinification:
Fermentation takes about 3 weeks. Maturation for 12 months in new (33%) and used barriques (65%). Further ageing for 12 months in tonneaux and 6 months in steel casks.
Matching:
Ideal with all game and hearty meat dishes, with hard cheeses and ham.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.

Vernatsch and Lagrein are typical South Tyrolean grape varieties and are cultivated on 7 hectares of vineyard. International varieties, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon also grow well on the steep slopes above Bolzano. Take a break from the heat and crowds of Bolzano and drive to Sanct Justina along the Rittnerstrasse. The historic winery Loacker, with its modern SKYWINE PAVILLON, gives you a great view of the Rosengarten while looking down on Bolzano.
