Terroir: Predominantly alluvial soil.
Orientation: South and south-east facing slopes.
Altitude: 310-400 m above sea level.
Vinification:
Fermentation on the skins for 8-10 days. Malolactic fermentation and ageing in large oak barrels for 6-10 months.
Food pairing:
Poultry, grilled or roasted red meat, smoked and mature cheeses.
Serving temperature:
14 - 16°C.
Ageing potential:
Min. 5 years.
