Description: 
The color, a bright ruby red. A variety of light fruit aromas such as raspberry, strawberry, cherry and a hint of roasted almonds can bei found in the smell. This light, harmonious wine shines in the taste with its fruity freshness and the full and juicy body in the finish. A straightforward, highly drinkable wine. 

Grape variety: 
Vernatsch (Schiava) - South Tyrol DOC.  

Production area: 
Völs am Schlern, South Tyrol, Dolomites - Unteraicha village at 550 - 650m above sea level. The acreage "Tieaf" extends to the south-west exposed steep slopes, which enjoy the influence of the warm winds from the Bolzano basin. The morainic soil is particularly deep and rich in minerals an gray porphyry, whose notes characterize the taste of the Prackfol wines. The proportion of magnesium in the soil is above average, which underlines the flavor of the wines. 

Vinification: 
Manual harvest and grape selection. After a short maceration, follows a slow fermentation at a controlled temperature and the maturation for 5 months on the fine lees in the stainless steel barrels. 

Food recommendations: 
Ideal accompaniment to light starters, but especially to traditional South Tyrolean sausages such as bacon and sausage or shake bread and mild cheese. In general, this wine is an allrounder and accompanies almost every dish. 

Serving temperature: 
12 - 14°C. 

Ageing potential: 
3 - 5 years.
