Production area:
Porphyry and calcareous soil near Bolzano at 500 m a.s.l. (1640 ft).
Vinification:
After a gentle pressing, the must is stored and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine ages then for at least six months in French barriques.
Food pairing:
Enjoy as an aperitif or with asparagus, light fish or pasta dishes. Pairs excellently with poultry and vegetarian dishes.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.
