Description:
Lush ruby red colour. Elegant, fruity aromas of red berries, cherry and raspberry with balsamic notes on the nose, some chocolate and violet, and a hint of tobacco in the finish. On the palate inviting wiht elegant tannins, playful freshness and fullness, juicy and highly quaffable.

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Lagrein - South Tyrol DOC.
Production area:
Settequerce Terlano, vineyards around the Kornell Winery on approx. 270 m a.s.l., south-west facing with a slope up to 10%. Porphyry weathered soil.
Vinification:
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large barrels for 15 - 18 days. Aging for 12 months in large wooden barrels of 50 hl, followed by a further refinement for 2 months in the bottle before being sold.
Food pairing:
Cold cuts, spicy Mediterranean starters, roasted and braised red meats.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

Spreading palm trees and hardy conifers share the same piece of land here. Mediterranean southerlies, known as the Ora, compete with dry downslope winds from the north.
