Description:
Tasty, delicate white wine with a distinct character. Greenish to straw yellow in colour. The aroma is intense and typical of the variety, with a slight hint of moss, spicy notes (nutmeg) and pleasant fruity aromas (grapefruit). Fresh, lively and aromatic on the palate, pleasantly full-bodied with fine fruity elegance.

Production area:
Vahrn near Brixen at 650m above sea level, south-eastern exposure on gravelly and sandy moraine soils.
Vinification:
Fermentation at 18°C and ageing in stainless steel, 4 months ageing on fine lees.
Food pairing:
Ideal as an aperitif, harmonises beautifully with soft cheeses, light starters, fricassee of white meat and also seafood.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

Köfererhof
The Köfererhof is one of the typical vineyards of the Isarco Valley with a long tradition. It is one of the oldest farms in the area and, as everywhere in the Isarco Valley, it is above all the white wine grapes that find excellent conditions here. The vines thrive around the courtyard on 5.5 hectares at an altitude of 650 meters. Due to the mineral soils and the microclimate, the wines are juicy, fresh and elegant.
