Description:
A fresh, fruity, elegant sparkling wine with a fine-grained, uniform and persistent perlage. Colour: Straw yellow with greenish reflections. Aroma: fine, delicately fruity, slightly yeasty. Taste: fresh, lively, slightly sweet, with a balanced fullness.

Production area:
The grapes for this special cuvée grow at an altitude of 450 metres above sea level. The favourable location of the vineyards around Buchholz, ideal sunshine and good ventilation of the bunches allow the grapes of these varieties to grow with an excellent acid/sugar ratio.
Vinification:
After crushing and soft destemming of the grapes, the must is inoculated with pure yeasts and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 19°C. The second fermentation takes place in pressure tanks according to the Charmat Method. The young fermented wine continues to mature on the yeasts at 14°C for 6 - 9 months. The sparkling wine is then separated from the yeasts, cooled and bottled. A further maturation period of 3 months awaits this fine sparkling wine before it is put on sale.

Nearly 800 meters of elevation change between the lowest and highest vineyards: hardly any other estate winery has such a broad palette of locations as the Peter Zemmer Estate Winery, founded in 1928 in Cortina sulla Strada del Vino. That is reflected in the balanced and attractive assortment of wines. The vineyards of the Peter Zemmer Estate Winery range from 220 to 1,030 meters above sea level. Wines filled with character have their origins here, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Grigio, but also promising red wine varieties such as the autochthonous Lagrein and the elegant Pinot Noir.
