Description:
This sauvignon blanc is the expression of the highest quality. Its unique fragrance of elderberry and lime herb is accompanied by a stunning aroma of spicy plants. It is juicy, racy and delights with a beguiling harmony of aromas. A long pleasant finish gives great drinking pleasure.

Production area:
Marling, on a slope (30-40% inclination); against morning sun. Soils consist of granite, slate and gneiss, interspersed with sandy loam. Natural cultivation, without artificial fertilisers or herbicides.
Vinification:
Fermentation and ageing in temperature-controlled wooden barrels.
Food pairing:
Asparagus, Mediterranean starters, white meat and fresh cheese.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 8 years.

A family business, a single vineyard area, three vines, but countless genotypes: the Plonerhof estate in Marlengo aims for a very particular variability to occupy an extremely interesting niche. Also because the winemaker Erhart Tutzer wants to be "quality" in everything - from the vine to the bottle. The vineyards of the Plonerhof estate cover 5 hectares, partly with a slope of up to 40%, where working is difficult and tiring. It is evident that in these conditions nothing is received as a gift.
