Description:
A white wine with a greenish yellow hue and fresh fruity aromas of pears and apples. The acacia wood gives the wine its special characteristics.

Production area:
This Pinot Bianco grows in the vineyards "Trifall" at an altitude of 450m a.s.l. and "Barleit" at 400 m a.s.l. with southeast orientation and sandy loamy soil and loamy limestone gravel.
Vinification:
After the harvest, carried out with various successive pickings, takes place over 14 days the controlled low temperature fermentation in large barrels made from local acacia wood. The subsequent refinement also happens in local acacia wood-barrels, to give the wine its fresh and fruity aromas of apple and honey.
Food pairing:
This wine goes particularly well with fish and pasta dishes, but also with salads and light meat dishes.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

The winegrower and cellarmaster Andergassen Oskar and his son Hannes are focusing on maintaining tradition in combination with modern cellar techniques. Harvests by hand, gently pressing processes, controlled fermentations and the aging process in wood barrels ensure wines of high quality. Since 1999 we are producing red and white wine. The whole production is processed, vinified and bottled in our winery.
