Impressive single vineyard in the Eisack Valley. The sandy, loamy soil of this site characterizes the wines like a stamp. They are spicy, full-bodied and long-lasting.

Production area:
Gols: Steep glacial moraine in the middle of the valley, right next to our farm. Loamy, sandy soil.
Vinification:
Spontaneous fermentation in steel. This is followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then matures for 8 months on the fine lees.
Food pairing:
Ideal as an aperitif, harmonises beautifully with soft cheeses, light starters, fricassee of white meat and also seafood.
Serving temperature:
8 - 10°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

The wine tradition dates back to the early modern age, as evidenced by documents from the Neustift monastery. On the fertile moraine hill, created by the glaciers, today mainly white wines of exceptional quality grow, which convince with their fresh and fruity elegance. We only squeeze the best quality grapes from our various Gols, Gall and Rigger locations and process them according to the most modern technological standards of the cellar. For us it is important to produce wines with their character and their independence.
