Description:
Our Veltiner captivates with its intense bouquet, freshness and acidity. The aromas are reminiscent of white peach and tropical fruits. On the palate it is soft and persistent. The Veltliner has a restrained peppery aroma with a hint of green apples. On the finish, it ends delicately bitter.

Grüner Veltliner - Alto Adige DOC

Production area:
Rigger: Protected, warm basin in the Riggertal. The sandy ground provides characterful, full-bodied Veltliner wines.

Vinification:
Spontaneous fermentation. 48h maceration at 16°C in tonneau. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and 10 months of ageing on the fine lees in the tonneau.

Food pairing:
It goes well with spicy cheeses, cooked or grilled fish dishes, light meat dishes and as an aperitif.

Serving temperature:
8 - 10°C.

Ageing potential:
more than 8 years.

Bottle to:
750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt.

The wine tradition dates back to the early modern age, as evidenced by documents from the Neustift monastery. On the fertile moraine hill, created by the glaciers, today mainly white wines of exceptional quality grow, which convince with their fresh and fruity elegance. We only squeeze the best quality grapes from our various Gols, Gall and Rigger locations and process them according to the most modern technological standards of the cellar. For us it is important to produce wines with their character and their independence.
