Description:
Brillant ancient wax pink ruby red reflexes. Intensive fresh and fruity perfume of cherry and black currant. The taste is soft and round with appreciably crispy fruit acid.

Vinification:
Cold maceration, then must distraction from the disstalked mash and chilly fermentation in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days. Subsequent racking and bearing on yeast with partly biological acid degradation.

Ideal with savoury starters, smoked fish and white meat.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 3 years.

The Winery Merano Burggräfler arose from the merger of two traditional wineries: the Winery Merano and the Winery Burggräfler. A total of 370 members, small and micro producers, cultivate about 250 hectares of the best vineyards in Merano and the surrounding areas Lagundo, Tirolo, Caines, Rifiano, Scena, Marlengo, Cermes, Lana and the Val Venosta Valley. Thanks to their combined strenght the winegrowing in the western part of South Tyrol obtains a new and interesting profile.
