Description:
Complex aroma of small red and dark berries, black cherry, plum and blood orange, notes of dried herbs and cloves. On the palate a good structure with delicate tannins and a decisive and persistent finish.
Sometimes you have to look back some way to understand how wines of character are created. You have to recall winds and waters that have moved sand and stones from one place to another... Thus too was Lehmont created: "Lehm [clay]" and "Mont [mountain]" indicates how the soil formed it while the mountain freshened it. The elegance and fine style of this Pinot Nero ensure that it retains its incomparable essence.

Pinot Noir - South Tyrol DOC Riserva
Production area:
South-east facing morainic soils with a mixed structure of slit and sand crossed by stones at 400 - 500 meters above sea level.
Vinification:
Cold maceration for about a week and fermentation in open wooden vats.15-months aging in tonneaux and barrique.
Food pairing:
Suckling lamb, deer saddle, aged and spicy hard cheeses.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 8 years.
