Descrizione:
Colore Rosso rubino intenso. Profumo Ricco e complesso, di amarene e frutti di bosco in confettura, fiori rossi secchi, pepe nero, cuoio e tabacco. Gusto Caldo, morbido e avvolgente, di buona sapidità, equilibrato.
Colore rosso rubino, decisamente intenso e compatto. Il bouquet di sensazioni che compongono il profilo olfattivo si muove su note ampie, in cui frutta, fiori e spezie si alternano in un turbine di sfumature molto avvolgenti. All’assaggio è di ottimo corpo, caloroso, fasciante, con un sorso caratterizzato da una bella vena sapida, ben equilibrata. Un rosso toscano frutto del grande legame fra la cantina, il territorio e il Sangiovese, che ci ricorda le proprie origini e la propria identità.

Vinificazione:
Fermentazione in botti di rovere. Affinamento per 18 mesi in botti di rovere e tonneaux.
Abbinamento:
Formaggi stagionati, Pasta al sugo di carne, Selvaggina, Carne rossa in umido, carne arrosto e grigliata.
Temperatura di servizio:
16 - 18°C.

Tenuta Salcheto
Salcheto è una cantina della zona di Montepulciano, nelle colline senesi, che ha fatto della territorialità, eco-sostenibilità e qualità dei vini prodotti i suoi punti di forza. Prende il nome da un piccolo corso d’acqua che traccia il confine delle proprietà e che, a sua volta, prende il nome dagli alberi di salice, “salco” in antico toscano. Sotto la guida d Michele Manelli, che segue personalmente i lavori in vigna e in cantina, Salcheto si è imposta come una delle realtà vinicole guida per una conduzione agricola biologica certificata e biodinamica. I vigneti si estendono per 30 ettari sui terreni argilloso e tufacei delle colline senesi, ad un’altitudine di oltre 400 metri, nei territori di Montepulciano, Chiusi e la Val d’Orcia.
