Description:
Dense, lively golden yellow, an intense bouquet of quince, apple, citrus. On the palate mineral, salty, with marzipan tones, vanilla and fine tropical fruits. Long finish. A Pinot Blanc with its own character and all the qualities for a long-lasting drinking experience. It convinces with its finesse, elegance and fullness.

Production area:
Cermes / Merano.
Vinification:
20 hours of contact with the skins, gentle pressing, fermentation in wood and 24 months of ageing on the lees. Regular stirring of the fine yeast, 5-month ageing on the bottle.
Food pairing:
Pair with roasted fish with a strong flavour, dumplings, noodle dishes, roasted poultry, rabbit or veal or a vegan Japanese noodle soup "Tantanmen" with sesame seeds, chilli and crunchy vegetables.
Serving temperature:
8 - 10°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 8 years.

The grapevines of the Kränzelhof grow on loose moraine soils and are tended especially gently. Thus artificial fertilizers and herbicides are avoided, while field and meadow flowers between the rows of grapevines provide sustainable life in the vineyard. In addition, we reduce the yields per hectare that are allowed by removing leaves in arduous work by hand, trimming shoots, and cutting away grapes.
