Description:
The delicate fragrance, the fine taste and the enchanting character make this Chardonnay a particularly pleasant wine. The Chardonnay "Schwarzhaus" shines in the glass with a greenish-yellow sheen and intoxicates the nose with a delicate scent of apricot and vanilla. On the palate, it convinces with an elegant, harmonious body and a perfectly integrated acidity.

Production area:
A parcel in the SCHWARZHAUS Burgundy vineyard in the municipality of Eppan, situated at an altitude of 350 m above sea level.
Vinification:
After harvesting, the grapes are fermented under controlled temperature in oak barrels. This is followed by seven months of ageing on the fine lees in the same barrels.
Food pairing:
A very typical South Tyrolean Chardonnay, perfect with rich starters, fish, seafood and spicy poultry.
Serving temperature:
10 - 12°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

We continue to work hard at this farm – both in the vineyards and the cellars – with the single minded scope of producing top quality wine. The low and select production allows us to guarantee the high quality of the wines. In fact, from 5.5 hectares, we only produce a maximum of 40,000 bottles, half of which is white, the other red. The altitude of 500 meters above sea level is an additional advantage to producing wines of unique character, good acidity, and with a good aging potential.
