Description: The fine, transparent, ruby red color is the prelude to a fascinating spectrum of aromas. With hints of black fruit, mulberry, sour cherry, plum and blackberry, followed by notes of dark chocolate, sweet tobacco, rhubarb and hints of cloves that complete the bouquet. The taste is spicy, with a graceful freshness. Ripe and noble tannins with a pleasantly bitter touch that accompanies the sip until the finish.

Production area: The classic Kalterer red wine region is located on the sometimes rising altitudes between 215 and 315 m above sea level. On these deep limestone gravel soils, which the glacier has transported here, the local varieties for Lake Caldaro develop their highest potential, as does the international grape variety Cabernet Franc. The Mediterranean climate at the lake with lots of sun and the afternoon wind is particularly important for these varieties.

Andi Sölva's estate is a small structure in which many activities are carried out directly by the owner himself, from the care of the vines to careful manual selection. For this reason the production of bottles is limited.
