Description:
The colour is a beautiful, intense garnet red, elegant and transparent. The bouquet is broad, complex and enveloping, with floral aromas of wilted roses and violets, fruity aromas of raspberries and wild strawberries in the younger years - of jams, marmalades and nutmeg as the wine matures a little. Notes of black pepper, liquorice, tobacco, leather and some smoke. When young, it is distinctly tannic, full-bodied and has a dry, full, robust but also velvety, harmonious and enveloping taste.
It is a wine meant for long ageing that fills you with emotion as you follow its evolution.

Nebbiolo - Piedmont DOCG.

Barolo, province of Cuneo, Piedmont.
Vinification:
This is a powerful and tannic Barolo, but it is also decidedly soft and elegant. After a long maceration on the skins following fermentation, the wine is aged for about three years in 30 to 100 hl Slavonian oak barrels, allowing all its characteristics to refine over time. The wines from the different barrels are then blended and the bottled wine continues to age for a few more months.

Red meats, roasts, game and medium to mature cheeses.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.

The Cabutto family has an ancient history linked to the territory of Barolo. To trace the origins of the company, it is necessary to go back to the 1920s, when Domenico Cabutto bought the Volta farmhouse. The estate has an area of about 20 hectares, which are located in the most prestigious areas of the Langhe, in the Barolo DOCG denomination. The constant search for quality produces wines of great elegance and finesse. Barolo di Cabotto best expresses the tradition of the great Langhe wine.
