Descrizione:
Colore giallo con riflessi verdognoli. Olfatto fruttato, speziato con sentori di anice, pepe e erbe aromatiche. Gusto speziato, leggermente aromatico, corposo e di buona persistenza.

Zona:
I vigneti, tutti coltivati su pendii scoscesi con pendenze tra il 40% e il 70% e un’ideale esposizione a sud, crescono a un’altitudine compresa tra 550m e 650m s.l.m. a Untrum, la frazione più meridionale del Comune di Velturno nonché uno dei luoghi più soleggiati della Valle Isarco.
Vinificazione:
delicata lavorazione e pressatura, fermentazione a temperatura controllata e maturazione sui lieviti in acciaio per 10 mesi.
Abbinamento:
formaggi, piatti di pesce, carne bianca, ottimo come aperitivo.
Temperatura di servizio:
10 - 12°C.
Invecchiamento possibile:
oltre 5 anni.

La cantina Thomas Dorfmann si trova in uno dei luoghi più caldi della Valle Isarco. Ha una superficie di due ettari di vigneto e si trova ad un'altitudine compresa tra 550 e 650 m. I vigneti ripidi al 70% sono circondati da muri in pietra naturale. Poiché Thomas Dorfmann si concentra sulle varietà tipiche della Valle Isarco, la sua gamma è principalmente bianca: Sylvaner, Grüner Veltliner, Gewürztraminer e Riesling. Ma coltiva anche Pinot Nero - "una rarità in Valle Isarco".
