Description: 
The Pinot Grigio Mont Mès impresses with its fruity characteristics - the lower alcohol makes it a perfect summer wine. Bright straw yellow colour, scent of pears and apples, harmonious, dry foll-bodied taste, smooth finish. 

Grape variety: 
Pinot Grigio - Sputh Tyrol IGT - Vigneto delle Dolomiti 

Production area: 
selected vineyards in the Bassa Atesina region. Guyot, sandy gravel soils. 

Vinification: 
manual harvest, gentle pressing, fermentation in stainless steel, maturation on the yeasts for 5 months. 

Food pairing: 
pairis well with starters, fish, lightly spiced dishes, white meat. 

Serving temperature: 
8 - 10°C. 

Ageing potential: 
more than 3 years. 

Bottle to: 
750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt. 

Allergens: 
wine can contain suphites.

The Castelfeder Estate Winery was founded in Egna more than 50 years ago by Alfons Giovanett, but since that time, hardly anything has remained the same. “The product line has been expanded, production has increased, the processes in the winery have been modernized, and the market has become more international,” says Günther Giovanett, who took over the estate from his father Alfons and runs it with his children Ivan and Ines. Today, the Castelfeder Estate Winery encompasses 65 hectares, on which 70 percent is planted with white wine varieties.“The focus is on Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon Blanc,” Giovanett explains. With the red wines, the concentration is on Pinot Noir.
