Description:
This wine displays a light brick red color and captivates with elegant, bright strawberry notes that add elegance to the rosé. The crisp acidity and fruity freshness make it an ideal choice on a hot day.

Production area:
The highest site, "Vial", is at 530 meters above sea level and slopes towards the Mendel Mountains. So close to the Mendel, its influence on the soil and climate is unmistakable: nowhere are the temperature fluctuations between day and night as noticeable as here. An ideal site for Pinot Noir, which acquires a character all its own here.
Vinification:
The Pinot Noir grapes are crushed, then the must macerates for up to 36 hours. This promotes the extraction of color and flavor substances and gives the rosé its characteristic color. After fermentation in stainless steel barrels, the rosé is aged for six months in used French barrique barrels.
Food pairing:
Pinot Noir Rosé "Summer" is an ideal companion for the summer months.

12 - 14°C.

more than 3 years.

The winegrower and cellarmaster Andergassen Oskar and his son Hannes are focusing on maintaining tradition in combination with modern cellar techniques. Harvests by hand, gently pressing processes, controlled fermentations and the aging process in wood tanks ensure wines of high quality. Since 1999 we are producing red and white wine. The whole production is processed, vinified and bottled in our winery.
